Happy New Year!

Well, it’s a new year and everyone is abuzz with plans, resolutions and dreams. I, too, have big plans for 2009 and hope all of you will stick along for the ride by reading about the goings on in this here blog. There will be some very big changes around these parts, but you’ll just have to stay tuned to find out what they are.

I think in my previous post I said I was going to blog regularly from Colorado, and boy did I fail! We leave early tomorrow morning and I’ve only blogged once in two weeks! BLOG FAIL. Oh well, I’ve had a lovely time here, as always. And, to prove that I still know how to operate my camera, I made a slideshow of some images from our stay with the Ryder clan. I made it originally just for the family to see, but I decided to post it here because, hey, they are photos and this is a photo blog. Genius!

All of the images are SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera), except for contrast and color tweaking, as needed.

Happy New Year, everyone! Something tells me this year is gonna be a great one.

Christmas Cards

I received word the other day that Ashley and Brandon chose one of the images I made from their wedding for their Christmas card! It always pleases me to hear about my images being used in ways that I didn’t expect. I love the image that they chose, so I wanted to share it here:

In other news, Chris and I are in Colorado for two whole weeks spending the holidays with the Ryder clan. I absolutely love this state, especially in the wintertime! Snow is still such a novelty for me because, being a Southern California girl (born and raised), I didn’t get to see a whole lot of it growing up. Now, I have a white Christmas every year, and I couldn’t be happier about it!

I will try to blog images from these next two weeks as often as I can. It’s beautiful country here and I want to capture it as much as I possibly can! But, for now, I’ll leave you with this festive little image!
