Category Archives: personal Duke is the beloved dog of my very close friend, Alicia. Last week Duke was diagnosed with cancer and Alicia is (naturally) devastated. When she told me, I did my best to console her, as friends do in these situations. I felt terrible because I knew just how much Alicia loves this dog. She talks about him a lot and is constantly taking pictures of him with her crappy camera phone and showing them to me. This dog is adored.  Chris- Happy One-Year Anniversary, bud! My world is a better place with you in it and I am a better person because you love me. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for loving me.  Well, we did it! My team successfully completed Relay for Life, the 24-hour relay walk to promote finding a cure for cancer, and I’m home, showered, fed and (kind of) rested. It was a very long 24 hours, but it was inspirational and rewarding. I think I probably did the least amount of walking compared to the rest of my team, but I did my best to man our booth for most of the day. |
