I’ve lived in California my entire life, driven up the coast to Northern California three or four times, but if you can believe it, I’ve never stopped in Big Sur. Several of my friends hold this place so near and dear to their hearts, so it’s been on my list of places to visit for a while now. As luck would have it, our dear friends Mary and JP decided to get married in the woods of Big Sur, so we had a reason to go that we couldn’t say no to. I was so excited!
What made the trip even better was being able to road trip with several of our friends in one big party van! If you’re going to be stuck in a car for six hours, I highly recommend surrounding yourself with seven other people that you like a while lot. It makes the drive a lot more bearable. I wanted to share a few pics from our time in Big Sur. It was the first time in a while that I used my real camera on vacation (though there are a few iPhone shots shared here, too). It was nice to use it for fun again. I feel like my self-portrait project is doing the trick!
I’m so thankful I got to create these memories with these people who mean so much to me. Big Sur was amazing and I can’t wait to go back! <3
