Printcopia Canvas Giveaway

I started my photography business right around the time my husband and I got married. So, right away my entire life was all about other people’s photos and I was so bad about framing our personal photos that it was pretty embarrassing. We didn’t even have a photo from our own wedding displayed anywhere! I realized I couldn’t expect my clients to display their photos proudly if I didn’t do so myself, so I decided to start practicing what I preach and I got to work framing a lot of personal photos to display around the house.

One of my favorite ways to display my work is on a canvas print. It makes any photo look so special and even more like a piece of art. I’ve ordered many canvases for our parents as gifts and many of my clients have turned their wedding and engagement photos into canvases, which makes me pleased as punch.

So I was thrilled when Printcopia contacted me and offered to give away one of their 11×14 canvas prints to one of my readers!

Printcopia was kind enough to send me my own canvas to check out the quality, which was perfect timing because we recently moved and my new office needs pretty things for its bare walls. I decided on one of my favorite shots from Melanie and James’ WB lot engagement session.

I was pleased with the quality of the canvas and the colors looked exactly as they should, which is sometimes hard to do, especially when ordering a print from a lab for the first time. I’m so pleased one of my lucky readers will get one of these for their very own! Entering the contest is easy to do, just keep reading to find out how. And PS: Anyone can enter – you don’t have to be a past or current client of Heidi Ryder Photography to win! And even if you are a client, you can have any photo turned into a canvas, not just one I made. :)

  • Jessica - Oooh, Heidi Ryder, you took so many great photos at our wedding it’s tough to choose! If I won I’d have a hard time choosing between the lollipop photo or the photo of Ryan and I in front of the bowling alley lanes. I hope I get the chance to make that tough decision!

  • Natalie - I would choose one of the family photos you took of us!

  • Huoy - Fun! We have prints from our e-pics up, but we don’t have a canvas! I would love to have a canvas made of some of the beautiful shots from the pictures you took of us! One in particular I think would be great is the wide shot of me and W on a little dock on the Venice Canals!

  • Marcella Aguirre - Hard decision, but I would get the picture you took of David and I with the brightly colored fall foliage behind us. Love that one!

  • ken - We also have not printed our own wedding photos, so I am sure we would choose one of them. Maybe the picture of both our families together for the first time.

  • Diana - Fun! I’d print a photo from our upcoming wedding with you for a surprise gifts for my parents :)

  • Giannina Rochlin - I think I would choose one of the family shots from my parents’ 65th anniversary. Having you photograph all of us really meant a lot and the pictures are so beautiful.

  • Gabi - I would get my engagement picture!

  • Bernice - I would have to go through all our Heidi Ryder fabulous Vegas wedding pictures and somehow narrow it down to one. I might have to do a Xmas Bellagio pic and use it at holiday decor!

  • Janice U - I would definitely use our B&W wedding photo when we were at the WDCH and you shot it above the stairs lookin down on us while we were walking away. It’s so beautiful and would make such a great wall photo.

  • Almon U - I would choose whatever my wife would want. Because she’s always right.

    Hi Heidi!

  • Ljupka - I would choose a black and white 20’s retro photo we did for 2012 New Year Eve celebration ;)

  • Melanie Burgess - That is awesome!

  • melanie - i would want the same one you have!!! :)

  • Jennifer Ray - Oh, there are so many to choose from! My top two are both ones you took. One of Davey laying on the ground upside down and the other is of our wedding where I’m making a fish face! I love those photos and have yet to find a frame that will do them justice!

  • Megan F - I would pick a family picture from the session we just had done.

  • Rebecca T. - A picture of my little boy for sure!

  • Heather - I would choose a photo of the tiny human in geek-wear which I am sure you will be taking tomorrow : )

  • Throuthehaze - a picture of the sunset I took the evening I got engaged

  • Adria - I would either do the wedding picture where Mike and I are standing by the fence and the sun is shining through the trees or the engagement picture where we are holding hands in front of the telescope!

  • Diane Q - Of course, I would print a pic of my girls. We have a family tradition of getting our pic with Santa every year. They are growing up so fast and I want to remember every moment.

  • Nichole - I would chose a family photo for our living room that currently has no family pics since my youngest was born!

  • Canvas Prints - Your canvas print collection is adorable. Thanks for sharing useful information.
