Ken and Jennifer are dear friends of mine. I met Ken first, about 8 years ago, and I remember several years later when he first told me about Jennifer. When I finally got the chance to meet Jennifer in person I was thrilled that the two of them had found each other. They complement each other so well and they’re both super fun to be around. Needless to say, I was so happy that I could play an integral part in their wedding day by photographing it!
Their wedding at the Brazillian Room at Berkeley’s Tilden Park reflected these two perfectly, from the delicious vegetarian food (from Serves You Right Catering) and yummy cupcakes to all of the crafty details Jennifer either made herself or had made especially for day. Their Jewish ceremony was one of the most beautiful I’ve had the privilege of witnessing. Such a beautiful day for such a lovely couple!
Ken and Jennifer, I love you both! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful wedding. Here are a few of my favorites.
Jennifer’s dress was made just for her by her talented friend Michelle Mulholland. I love that Jennifer chose a dress in an nontraditional color. It suits her so well and she looked stunning.
Theirs was a morning ceremony so they provided soft shawls to their guests to keep warm. Such a simple and extremely thoughtful gesture.
Jennifer and her mom bought flowers the morning of the wedding and made her bouquet and the boutonnieres herself. They were gorgeous and matched the weddings autumn colors theme perfectly.
The beautiful painting that serves as the kettubah holder was done by the couple’s friend Michael Sacramento. I love it so much and can’t wait to see it hanging on the wall of their home.
Probably my favorite DIY project from this wedding was the terrarium centerpieces that Jennifer made. The pine cones pulled the autumn feel together.
Jennifer and Ken’s rosewood and titanium wedding bands were made by Minter & Richter Designs.
Ken and Jennifer left the wedding in this snazzy vintage Rolls Royce from Nationwide Limousine Service. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity for some photos with it and I found a secluded road nearby that made us feel like we were in the middle of nowhere. Lovely.
