I’ve been looking forward to Molly and Bret’s wedding since the day I first met with Molly and she made me tear up as she spoke about Bret and how wonderful he was. I’m a wedding photographer because I love to capture moments between happy people in love, and Molly and Bret are a perfect example of why I love my job so much. They were married at Altadena Town & Country Club on a rainy day.
As they say, rain on your wedding day means good luck and I firmly believe that after this wedding. Their ceremony had to be moved indoors as a Plan B, but as it turns out, Plan B was just as beautiful an option as Plan A. The second ballroom at Altadena Country Club was newly remodeled, so Molly and Bret were married in a beautiful room, in front of huge windows with a gorgeous view, next to the warmth of a fireplace, as the rain continued to fall outside. If their wedding had been at any other venue, I’m not sure the Plan B would have been quite as wonderful. See? Luck!
Molly and Bret, you two are wonderful together and it was such an honor to be there to watch your beautiful wedding day unfold. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome. Hope you’re having a wonderful honeymoon in New Orleans!
Thanks to Tina of In the Cloud Events for helping the day go off without a hitch!
I LOVED Molly’s Lea Ann Belter gown, especially the soft and romantic flower details on the back.
Molly’s hair and makeup was done by Susie Chhour Hair | Makeup Studio. Molly looked absolutely stunning.
The beautiful flowers were done by Shirvan Designs.
Since it pretty much rained all day, I had to get creative with portrait locations for Molly and Bret. Luckily, the club had tons of pretty covered spots all over the place. I stood in the rain for some of these shots, but Molly and Bret stayed nice and dry. :)
