I’ve never met you and just stumbled upon your site, but… this post has me crying like a baby at my desk. I can tell you loved your dog like we do ours, so I can’t imagine what you’re going through right now. The thought alone of losing Rufus guts me, which is probably why I felt compelled to express my condolences to you. May you find peace and strength during this difficult time.

It is not often that I am brought to tears reading blogs, but I am sitting here in tears thinking about the heart break of this. My dog is my baby and I cannot even begin to imagine how hard this is. It sounds like he had an amazing last day and was deeply loved. I love the photos you captured and am so glad you have such great ones to look at and remember him by That reflection one is amazing!

I’m so sorry to hear about Frasier! I know it’s so difficult to lose a pet that’s so close.

i know a pet is a HUGE member of the family so my condolences to you and chris. so glad though that you were able to take him on one last walk and you were able to document it. hugs and kisses.
