Anna and Lönngren were married at the Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo, Calif. It was a beautiful setting for a beautiful union and I was happy to be a part of it in some small way. The day began early for us with very cold weather and some rain, but by the time Anna began to get ready for her day, the clouds parted and the sun shone through in such a glorious way that I knew the wedding was going to be something special.
Anna got ready at her Aunt’s house with most of her family in attendance to poke their head in every now and then and comment on how beautifully Anna’s hair and makeup was coming together. It was obvious that the family bond was quite strong. Congratulations to Anna and Lönngren! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day.

I got a kick out of Anna’s multi-tasking skills. She’s a girl after my own heart.

Anna stepped into her dress at the country club and all of her bridesmaids were on hand to make sure everything was in place.

A few details.

The florals were by Fiore Designs and I thought they were quite lovely.

We got some glorious light for the ceremony.

Married!

The elegant cake was done by Jamaica’s Cakes and it was as yummy as it was beautiful.

First dance as husband and wife.

And speaking of the first dance, the slideshow for Anna and Lönngren’s wedding is set the the song they danced to. I’ve never done that before, I usually pick a song from my collection that I find fitting, but I thought this song was so perfect and beautiful. It’s a cover of a great Cure song that I’m sure you’ll recognize. I’d never heard this version before, but I absolutely love it.
A big thank you to Henry Chen for inviting me to assist him at this wedding and to second-shooter Gavin Wade for being fun to work with.
